Test Preparation

The University SAT® Prep Program provides a well-rounded and complete SAT prep course. We offer students a unique combination of vital test-taking strategies, time-saving tips and shortcuts, thorough content review, and invaluable university-admissions advice.

Curriculum

Our SAT® curriculum is adaptable. Our instructors use this unique feature to custom fit each class to the needs of their students.

Master the content

We help students master the content tested on the exam. The University SAT Prep course helps students fill in any gaps they have in the exam content. Plus, we help students take the next step by moving from knowing the concepts to applying the concepts to test problems.

Course Materials

Learning continues outside of the classroom with our one-of-a-kind course materials. Years of development using real exam materials have led to the creation of Study Guides that form the foundation of University SAT instruction

Partnership

The University SAT Prep Program is offered by the University of Houston - Downtown and the Princeton Review, leading test preparation organization to prepare students for the SAT exam.
The Princeton Review has long been a leader in helping college and graduate school–bound students achieve their higher-education goals through test-preparation services, tutoring and admissions resources, as well as through online courses and resources and print and digital books.

Our Goal

Our program’s unique effectiveness comes from its two-prong approach.
First, it explains and offers practice in the best way to prepare for the new SAT, with its harder math content, its increased emphasis on critical reading, its timed essay, and its focus on English grammar. Second, our program helps students and parents manage the University admissions process.
